Starting back around 4/23/24, at 38,925 miles I had brought my Truck a 2021 Silverado Custom into Hamilton for some scheduled service, and a couple extra concerns. First of them being an "oil leak", and the second being the frame undercoating that was flaking and peeling away. Upon pick up of my vehicle, I was told that they could not "find" the source of where the oil leak from coming from. At that time i had verbally mentioned that I was positive it was leaking from the "oil separator" on the back of the cylinder head. But was told dye was added to the engine oil, and to bring it back in 2 weeks. I said i would try, however i lead a very busy life. Fast Forward to 9/18/24...... When I was able to bring it back to have the oil leak checked, amongst a couple other concerns. In which I was told yet again they could not locate the oil leak, and added dye to the engine oil and to come back in 2 weeks. Which i could not because i have a household to run. Also at that time, I restated that I was confident the "oil separator" on the back of the cylinder head was the problem. And that I was 99% sure, because the numerous resources I have access to, along side inspecting it myself. I am a certified automotive and heavy truck/diesel mechanic, which was also stated to the service dept. Again fast forward to 4/30/2025..... when I brought my truck in for Scheduled service, and yet a couple more concerns........ I advised the service writer Matt (who I have never dealt with before) of the previous concerns especially the oil leak. As well as the undercoating peeling and flaking again. After the truck was looked at by the tech, Matt had informed me that the Catalytic converter was bad (which i knew based on the DTC codes), and that the OIL SEPARATOR was in fact leaking!!!!!!! Along with a supposed "bad PCV valve". In which i did confirm was not in fact "bad" when it was compared to a GM GENUINE replacement PCV valve. The "bad" valve, and the brand new valve performed as equals. I was lied to. So there are a couple things to take in here....... 1. I was right in the first place about the "Oil Separator", but gave Hamilton Service dept the benefit of the doubt. 2. Was told that the first time they redid the undercoating, it was a "courtesy" because it was outside the warranty period...... I was never told or documented to me that it was a courtesy to me. Therefore I assumed it was covered under warranty. I was lied to. 3. I was told the PCV valve was "bad"/clogged..... In which it was not. I was lied to. 4. The Oil separator could have been done the first time I made the complaint, or a courtesy could have been extended to me as I was within the 3 years, but just outside the mileage of the factory warranty..... However it was not. Now Zurich will not cover it, and I am well outside the warranty period. I was at a real low point in my life, just a week after a major accident took my previous vehicle away from me. I trusted the sales team at that time, and was lease the truck through Hamilton. I then purchased the truck through Hamilton. I tried to trust the service dept, and was let down big time! They knew I had extensive mechanical experience, and I didn't hide it either. Yet I was still lied to. Any further vehicle purchases will not be made through Hamilton.

I called the dealership on Monday morning of June 30th, 2025, and was transferred to Brittany Danna. She explained that the vehicle I was inquiring about was no longer available, but she had new 2026 available in the same make/model for a very comparable price. We walked in an hour later, and was greeted and welcomed by the front desk and Brittany immediately. She was professional, nice, and has a great sense of humor and presence. We test drove the vehicle (2026 Equinox LT) and immediately knew it was exactly what we were looking for. Brittany took her time as she ran through numerous numbers/options until we were comfortable and excited about the purchase and then helped us figure out the financing with the finance department, in which Tyler Acton took over to help us finalize the purchase. We traded our very used and loved car in, and walked out with our new vehicle that same afternoon. Could not be anymore pleased and thankful for the amazing experience we had with Brittany, Tyler, and the Hamilton Chevrolet Dealership. The service was outstanding. The oil change was completed quickly and efficiently. The waiting area is excellent—clean, thoughtfully designed, and clearly created with the customer in mind. There’s even a dedicated workspace if you need to use your computer while waiting. The fish tank adds a calming, beautiful touch to the atmosphere. I was also offered water, coffee, and tea, which made the experience even more pleasant.

Vehicle wasn't fixed. Was told my issue is normal yet I have drove 3 other similar vehicles and there's didn't do what minds doing. Vehicle also pulls left and still pulls left, was told alignment was fine. I asked to have it diagnosed not just check the alignment. I told the writer and manager to make sure I get my truck back clean and looking like how I dropped it off. the writer told me yes I looked at it and it looks good. Yet there was oil and hand prints all over the front fender and hood. I will not be coming back to this service center. New car sales was awesome but service dept. not so good!

The stars are only for Mike and the service tech who actually repaired my car. Mike, as usual, was awesome and accommodating. However, here is the reason for my score. This was my second significant repair in two weeks. I discovered that a "courtesy car" now means $46 per day. That is not a courtesy. That is a rental. Given that I purchased the car from Hamilton, the dealership seemed to not care that the car was in need of repairs AGAIN. While I was ready to pay the price due to being a one-car household, when Mike escorted me to the desk, a female employee who was doing NOTHING but staring out the widow, grumpily told Mike that he (and I) would have to wait for 30 minutes for the courtesy car employee to come back who was covering for the cashier! 30 minutes?! After waiting for over four hours to find out the status of my repair?! Why couldn't the employee who was doing nothing cover? If I did not have the extended warranty, and if Mike was not so awesome to deal with, I doubt I would come back to Hamilton for service. Telling a customer to wait another 30 minutes TO PAY YOU EXTRA MONEY is absurd.

Keith Elkins was my service provider. I was greeted warmly with a smile and felt that I would receive the help I needed. My tire had a nail in it. Keith explained why a patch would not work and that I needed a new tire. The work was completed in the time frame I was given. The lobby is a very comfortable place to wait. The Cadillac coffee is delicious, and the smell of popcorn is inviting. Keith came to the lobby and walked me to the cashier. She was very nice also and graciously helped me with my GM rewards. I would highly recommend this dealership.

I loved my experience I loved the sale person and the service tech except one problem. the car is a 2022 with only 22,700 miles but when I went to have the oil changed he put a gage on my tires and it was in the yellow one centimeter from being in the red. He said I had three month left and then I need new tires. Well who wants to buy a car for 22,000 and turn around and have to buy new tires. I tried to negotiate with you on this equinox and you didn't move. If I had known the tires were this worn I would have ask for a lower price or ask for new tires Life is hard out her and money comes really hard . I think if you did the right thing you would put new tires on this vehicle for me. I had a hyndi and the motor blow 5 years early and they didnt take care of me and thats why I came to chevy . So please have mercy on me and I promise I'll sing your praises I gave you a great review please look at it. sincerely Lee A. Crouse

I stopped in Thursday for and oil change and tire rotation. I got turned away because I did not have an appointment. Come back Friday morning and take the shuttle to work. I told the driver I am out of work at 3 pm and I will need to be picked up at 3. Driver tells me ok. Driver did not pick me up. Thankfully my co-worker drove around the building and offer me a ride to the dealership. The cashier did not care that the driver did not pt me up. She did not offer to get a manager. Nothing. I went and found Scott in his office. I addressed my issue with him and I got an apology. Scotts manager came over and Scott explained what happened. Again another apology. What good does do me? I had to find a ride because the shuttle driver failed to pick a customer up. I was at first told he's on the road but I clearly point out the shuttle car in the exact spot it was in that morning and the driver was sitting there. This is not the first problem I have had. July 2024, I had a tire and rim replaced (under warranty). I picked up my car assuming everything was fine. I get to the store and decide to make sure it's the right rim and I see my tire is not mounted on the rim the right way. I had to drive the car back to the dealership. Scott and his boss were scratching their heads like how is this possible. I got lucky that the tire held air. I am lucky that the tire did not come off and cause an accident or get me killed. Again just an apology. Not one person from upper management called to talk about this issue. You guys need to do be

Sometime late August, early September I brought our 2016 trax in for an oil change. It was discovered I also needed front suspension work which totaled 1600 dollars with the oil change. The car wasn’t driven much but several months later I discover oil patches under the car indicating a leak. I took in in again and had them check it out. I was told that the oil pan needs to be replaced because the leak was due to the threads on the oil pan drain.. this was a 759 dollar bill. The service rep told me this is due to wear?? I’m very disappointed with that answer. Tell me, is that a common occurrence????

All the people were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Scott Sodergren our salesperson was outstanding, a true professional, he is an expert on the process and worked diligently to get us a great deal and the vehicle we wanted. He had it prepped and ready when we arrived, explained all the features and how everything worked. Kelly Tharp, the Business Manager was very helpful in the financing portion. She helped me to get quickly through the process and made sure i understood everything. I made an oil change appointment for last Wednesday and the service consultant Matt Ackerman was great! I had a check engine light on and he was able to tell me what it was and how to resolve it right away. I’m very unhappy about the payment options. To use a credit card there is a 3% charge - $50 for the last visit. Checks over $500 not allowed. I didn’t even ask about a CASH option because it’s 2026. Only my debit card was acceptable without fees. The one card that I guard with my life and do not use for purchases. So, I have no choice but to call around to other dealers to see if they practice the same poor customer service payment options. To my surprise, NONE of them did. Sorry Hamilton, you lost a long time customer. No more referrals for you.
